Vendor applications will reopen in early 2027. All interested vendors must apply through the online application portal when it becomes available. We’re unable to make exceptions or respond to individual inquiries about early acceptance.

2027 VENDOR REQUIREMENT’S
💡IMPORTANT: Carson Farmers Market operates under our mission:
Make It • Bake It • Grow It • Agriculture • Health.
Only vendors whose products clearly meet this mission will be considered.
❌ No booth sharing. Each vendor must submit their own application
❌ If you do not meet the below requirements, please do NOT apply.
✅ Application Requirements
• A non-refundable application fee is required for your application to be reviewed.
• Application submission does not guarantee acceptance.
• All products and services must be approved by CFM before participation.
• Please allow up to 10 business days for processing and notification.
Required Documentation & Compliance
✔️Certificate of Produce (producers Only) If you grow it, you need it.
✔️ Sales Tax ID Required for anything sold, except fresh produce.
✔️ Carson City Temporary Health Permit (when applicable)

✔️ Carson City Business License All persons or companies doing business in Carson City must obtain a business license, whether located in the City or coming in from outside.

- Non-profits (not selling food): EXEMPT from the business license, but may need to apply for the exemption.
- Farmers & livestock vendors: EXEMPT per NRS 576.128-131.
✔️ Cottage Food Applicants Must be registered with a Nevada Health District and provide an Approved Cottage Food Letter. If operating under the NDA Crafts Food Certificate, that certificate must also be provided.
✔️ Commercial Liability Insurance $1,000,000/$2,000,000 coverage required. Carson Farmers Market must be listed as additional insured.
– do not purchase insurance until you are approved (if you don’t already carry it).
✔️ Proof of Nonprofit Status Required only for nonprofit applicants
✔️ Local Vendor Requirements Vendors must be based in Carson City, Reno, Douglas, Dayton, or surrounding areas. “You” must be the person who makes, bakes, or grows the product (unless otherwise approved). Community Awareness booth organizations must be based in Carson City.
✔️ Booth Setup Requirements 10 x 10 canopy, weights on each leg, signage, tables, and table coverings are required for all vendors.
