Press Pressure (it should automatically set to HIGH pressure). Set time to 8 minutes. Hit START. When finished do a controlled (carefully allow steam to release in short bursts to make sure nothing spews out) quick release.
If you prefer a chunky apple sauce mash with a hand potato masher and transfer to a bowl. Or transfer the mixture to a blender, blending until smooth. Set aside to cool or serve as a warm apple sauce.
Stovetop Directions:
Add all ingredients in a pot and bring to a boil on high heat, then lower the temperature, cover the pot, and maintain a low simmer for 15-20 minutes. Until the apples are very tender. Hand mash or blend for your favorite consistency.
Storage:
Store leftovers in a lidded container. Store in the fridge for 7-10 days. Or can the applesauce for longer shelflife.
